About Sun Moon Lake
Sun Moon Lake is in the center of Taiwan and is the island’s largest lake. It is a beautiful alpine lake. The eastern part of the lake is round like the sun and the western side is shaped like a crescent moon, so the name is called “Sun Moon Lake." | |
If you want to discover the many faces of Sun Moon Lake, you can ride a bicycle along the road circling the lake, and you will see the beauty of nature. Also you can rent a boat and you will see some mountain. The area surrounding the lake has many trail for hiking.
Swimming in Sun Moon Lake is not permitted, but in every year Sun Moon Lake will have a race called the Swimming carnival of Sun moon lake, it is a race which people need to swim 3 km.
In the last, our group want to do about Sun Moon Lake is because the beautiful view, the mountain and the lake.
